I was a young man at the time but I remember vividly the time my uncle came to Leeds to visit his sister, my mum.
He drove one of the very early mini’s which I believe was the colour of blue and white.
I was on my way to Leeds City for a night
out and he kindly gave me a lift into the City. He was to me a very interesting man and I enjoyed listening to him. Only wish I could have seen more of him. John Cross, eldest son of Eirene Cross, Peter’s sister.
